Washington St., East Peoria, who died at 10:38 a.m. Friday at Proctor Hospital where he was admitted at 10 a.m., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Schmidt Funeral Parlors in East Peoria. The Rev. Ralph Ringenberg of Bethany Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Zinser had been employed since 1942 as a machinist at the Douglas Aircraft Corp. at Santa Monica, Calif., until he retired a year ago and came back to East Peoria to make his home with his son, Emory Roy Zinser. He was a member of the Machinists Union in California. He was born at Washington Jan. 12, 1884, a son of Sol and Elizabeth Blumenshine Zinser. Surviving are four sons, Emory Roy Zinser, with whom he lived, Ray Zinser of Kickapoo, Aden Zinser of Peoria and Lloyd Zinser of Chicago; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren Mr. Zinser died from a heart attack according to Coroner Horace Payton who investigated.
