 Rae Charles Zinser, 86, of Kickapoo passed away at 10 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 
2007, at Manor Care Health Services in Peoria. He was born Sept. 28, 1920, in 
Washington, Ill., to Charles and Stella King Zinser. He married Thelma Heinz on 
July 26, 1941, in Washington, Ill. She passed away Oct. 7, 1988, in Peoria. 
     Surviving are three sons, Dr. Robert R. (Christine) Zinser and James L. 
(Sheila) Zinser, both of Kickapoo, and Thomas C. Zinser of Peoria Heights; six 
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 
     He was preceded in death by three brothers.
     He was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army.
