S. of America, in the year 1819, and died on July 17th 1835. SACRED to the memory of HANNAH, wife of THOMAS SWANWICK who was born Sept 12, 1770 At. St, Mary's Islington who followed her husband to the U. S. of America and died 10 Sept 1838 aged 68. SACRED to the memory of THOMAS SWANWICK Born on the 28th Nov. 1773 at Wem in the County of Shropshire, in England, who emigrated to the U. S. of America in the year 1819 and died on the 24th July 1828 aged 54 years. SACRED to the memory of ROBERT EVELEIGH TAYLOR of Bolton -le Moors Lancashire, England a physician of eminence in his native county and a man beloved & respected by all that knew him. He died Sept. 12, 1827 aged 54 years. Also on his tombstone: From this wild where anxious breast He sought for himself And for his beloved wife and children They to mourn in hopes desire Waited his return with _____ pain With stealthy pace death reached him on his way And suddenly seized him as his destined prey ______ ______ held acking hand and dicteous Friend held his acking hand, cooled his parched hand In the last ________ caught his parting sigh And closed with trembling hand his filmy eye And whilst near this gloomy bower midst the love We of the ______ Keeps o'er the spot where he whose generous mind Glowed with ardent love for human kind Whom talent guided _____ by her ______ way Lies slowly mingling with the commom clay.
