Friday, August 9, 1901, Rice -- Edward Carrick and Mrs. Ruth Guthrie spent Sunday with Lucy Logan. May 7, 1903 -- Miss Ruth Guthrie of Nashville is spending a week with her uncle, Rubin Logan. November 9, 1905 -- Mrs. Thomas Guthrie of Oakdale spent Friday and Saturday with her sister, Mrs. Rubin Logan, of this city. December 7, 1905 -- Miss Ruth Guthrie of Nashville who is attending school in Carbondale spent Thanksgiving with her uncle Ruben Logan and family of this city. August 7, 1914, #32 -- Mrs. Tom Guthrie returned to her home in Oakdale Wednesday after a week's visit with her niece, Mrs. Wae Logan.
