October 26, 1933 -- Front page of "Advocate" -- Automobile stolen from Pinckneyville Square. John A. Logan's Chevrolet Coach was stolen from its parking place near the dance hall on the north side of the Court House Square in Pinckneyville between 8 and 9 o'clock Tuesday night. The car was later found near the nation school house two miles north of Pinckneyville.
