November 7, 1919, #45 - Funeral of a you?g husband here on Monday - Rex Choisser departed this life in DuQuoin last Friday nite livlng only a short time after s~hooting himself in the head with a revolver, the tragedy occuring in an alley just off West Park Street. Only a few years ago he was married to Miss Verna Logan a Pinckneyville girl. To them was born one son Wayland Thomas. Mr. Chaisser and his wife had been separated for several weeks o She having been employed as teacher at West Lynn school. Mrs. Choisser was in DuQuoin Friday evening while in route home to spend the weekend in this city with her mother and little son. While on the street she met Mr. Choisser who n7reatened to take her life only a short time before he took his own. The remains were brought to this city and taken to the Logan residence where funeral services were held Monday morning. lnterment in Oak Grove Cemetery.
