Ater is an old pioneer cemetery in the middle of farm ground,
but pavedroad runs beside it. The stones were black & mossy when I
visited there on vacation backhome in 1989, some stones were leaning &
sinking. The old stones are sandstone, so most inscriptions are quite
worn.
