Special Telegram to the Inter-Ocean

Monticello, Ill., Nov. 21.

Samuel Robinson died yesterday, two days after the amputation of both legs in 
the accident in the elevator here last Wednesday. One leg was torn off 
entirely, the other all but a few shreds. The citizens have raised money for 
his family.
