Herman Leischner, 81, of Cisco died at 5 p.m. Sunday in the county nursing home near Monticello. He had been a patient there since March 19. Funeral services were held at 1p.m. Tuesday in the Dawson and Wikoff funeral home in Decatur. Burial was in Monitcello cemetery. He was a farmer in Piatt county most of his life and for fourteen years was employed at the old Sunny side golf course near Decatur. He was born Jan. 24 1872 at Jefferson City, Mo., and was married to Caroline Auer in Old Berlin Ill. She preceded him in death. He is survived by a half brother, William Leischner of Fisher; tow half sisters, Mrs Ida Hanson and Mrs. Charles Liesman of Chamaign, and three persons whom he reared. Mrs Bessie Robinson of Monticello, John Benson of Joliet, and J .H.
