Herald; Thursday Aug. 10. 1905 Mrs Stare died last evening as result of burn injuries of a fearful kind were inflicted. Mrs Moses A Stare died Wednesday evening at 6 'o clock at her home in Bradford Street. Death was the result of severe burns she received Mrs Stare hs suffered a great deal being in constant pain. More than [this word missing] of her body was burned. The accident happened Saturday, Mrs Stare overturned an oil lamp, it caught fire and she was in flames when discovered by her huysband. She had been a great sufferer of rhuematism for a number of years and this hastened[sic] her death. Anna Musselman Stare was born in Lancaster County, Penn. April 29 1835 she came[sic] west with her parents in 1857 and was married to Mr Stare in 1862. They have[sic[ lived in Decatur since that time. She is survived by her husband, two brothers and three sisters: Jacob Musselman of Linden IA; John Musselman of Ohio, Mr Walcer of Piatt County, Mrs Fannie Magee of Decatur and Barbara Albert.
