Hammond Courier, 1941 KENNETH HALCOM, of Cerro Gordo, and MISS PHYLLIS VANVLEET, of Atwood, were united in marriage at St. Charles, Mo., August 2nd. The bride is a daughter of MR. and MRS. JOHN VANVLEET of Atwood, and is well known in Hammond. She was graduated from the High School in Atwood with the class of 1939, and at present is a student at the Illinois Commercial College in Champaign, and will complete her edu- cation in January. The groom is a son of MR. and MRS. SIMPSON HALCOM of Cerro Gordo. He was graduated from the High school in Cerro Gordo with the class of 1938 and is now stationed at Chanute Field at Rantoul where he is with the 19th school squadron. The bride is a grand-daughter of MR. and MRS. P.E. WREN of this place.
