John Stanly Probate Record - Pike County, Illinois State of Illinois, of the January Term of the Pike Count Court, A.D. 1850 The petition of William H. Upinghouse and Nancy Uppinghouse respectfully represent that on or about the 9th day of July, A.D. 1851 one John Stanly of said County died intestate leaving Nancy Stanly his widow who has since intermarried with the said William H. Uppinghouse and is now one of your petitioners, and James R. Stanly, Charles Stanly, Joseph Stanly, Susan Stanly, Mary Jane Gillett and James Gillett, her husband, Rachael Coney (or Correy) and .... Coney (or Correy), her husband, Moses Stanly, Wesley Stanley and Harrison Stanly all of whom are brothers and sisters of said John Stanly, deceased, except the said James Gillett and .... Coney (or Correy), who are intermarried with the sisters of said deceased. That said deceased left no children, descendants of children or father or mother and that the above named are the only heirs at law of said deceased. Three of said heirs, to wit: Moses, Wesley and Harrison are minors under the age of twenty one years.
