	Know all men that I, Eliza Shuflin of Scioto County, Ohio 
for and in consideration of Thirty dollars to me paid by John T. 
Shuflin of the same place the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge,
do hereby bargain, sell and convey to the said John T. Shuflin his
heirs and assigns forever, the following Real estate, viz all my 
right title and interest as one of the heirs at law of Timothy
Shuflin in and to the South half of the North East quarter of 
Section twenty nine in Township twelve South of Range five East
in the ---- of lands subject to sale at Shawneetown Illinois 
containing eighty acres together with all the privileges and 
appurtenances to the same belonging.  To Have and to Hold the 
same to the said John T. Shuflin his heirs and assigns forever.
The grantor Hereby Covenanting with the grantee heirs and 
assignees, that the title is conveyed & clear free and 
unincumbered by any of the grantor herein.  In Witness whereof 
the said Eliza Shuflin has hereunto set her hand and seal this 
18th day of September in the year eighteen hundred and fortyseven.

	Be it remembered that on this eighteenth day of Sept. in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty seven 
before me the subscriber a Notary Public formally came Eliza 
Shuflin the grantor in the above conveyance and acknowledged 
the same to be her voluntary act and deed for the uses and 
purposes therein mentioned.
