Land Transfer - Emanuel & Timothy Shuflin to John T Shuflin, Pope County, IL Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 1999 Becky Hargett Deed Book L Page 486 Know all men by these presents that I, Emanuel Shuflin a son and heir at law of Timothy Shuflin deceased in consideration of Twenty Five dollars to me paid by John T. Shuflin of Columbus Ohio having sold and do hereby ---- and forever quit claim unto him the said John T. Shuflin and his heirs and assigns forever all my right title and interest legal and equitable in and to the following described premises situated in Pope County in the State of Illinois on the waters of Hayes Creek to wit the South half of the North East quarter of Section twenty nine in Township twelve South of Range five East in the district of lands subject to sale at Shawneetown Illinois containing Eighty acres and being the same land that was conveyed to our father Timothy Shuflin by John Whiteside and his wife by deed dated Jun 9th 1840. To Have and to Hold all my right title and interest as aforesaid in said premises with their appurtenance unto the said John T. Shuflin and his heirs and assigns forever.
