The Murphysboro Daily Independent, Murphysboro, IL April 1, 1948

Miss Lois MITCHELL announced her engagement to Leo EASON at the Kari-on class
party held Monday night at Percy. The wedding has been tentatively set for late
August or early September. Miss MITCHELL, formerly of Percy, is a teacher at St.
Louis. Her fiancé is attending St. Louis University and will receive his
master's degree soon.
