Consumption was the dread disease that carried her away, her death being the fourth that has occurred in the family within the past eleven months, three girls and one son, all victims of the same disease. A few months ago she was sent down to Texas in the hope that the climate would prove beneficial, but little or no benefit was derived from her residence there. She was a young Christian lady whose many good qualities endeared her to a large circle of friends, and her death is deeply mourned. Her funeral was held from the family residence Tuesday forenoon, the services being conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. A. Henderson. Internment in Caledonia cemetery. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of ourpeople in the _______ and sad bereavement that had visited their home.
