Katherine L. Curry, 101, of Crosstown Square, Silvis, formerly of Orion and 
Milan, died Feb. 19, 2004, at Illini Hospital, Silvis. 

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, 
Orion. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Visitation will be 
3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Milan 
Christian Church. 

Katherine was born Sept. 14, 1902, in Reynolds, to Oscar and Anna Kadel 
Carlson. She married Alvin James Curry Dec. 28, 1921, in Muscatine, Iowa. He 
preceded her in death Dec. 5, 1979. 

Katherine was a member of the Milan Christian Church. 

Survivors (and spouses) are son, Charles E. (Ruth) Curry, Alpha; daughter, 
Bernice (Bill) Hamerlinck, Orion; son-in-law, Dale Hamerlinck, Milan; 18 
grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 37 great-great-grandchildren. She 
was preceded in death by her son, Alvin Curry Jr.; daughter, Betty Hamerlinck; 
three sisters; and two brothers.
