DeBlieck, 91, formerly of Orion and Coal Valley, are 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Orion, and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Colona, where he was a member. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a rosary recited at 7. Memorial may be made to the church. Mr. DeBlieck died Friday, Dec 2, 1994, at Illini Hospital, Silvis. He was born Nov. 13, 1903, in Cornwall Township, Ill., the son of Evo and Augusta VanNorway DeBlieck. He married Florence L. DeToy July 3, 1923, in Pipestone, Minn. She died March 22, 1986. He farmed in the Orion and Coal Valley area. He retired in 1965 from the former International Harvester Co., East Moline Plant, as a chief engineer in the test engineering department after more than 40 years. He was a former member of the Lions Club, Auburndale, Fla., and International Harvester Managerial Club. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Elaine and Gerald Brown, Coal Valley, Dee Hungerford, Bettendorf; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann DeCapp and Helen Descamps, both of East Moline; and brothers, John DeBlieck, East Moline, Roy DeBlick, Alexis, and Ray and Marvin DeBlick, both of Geneseo.
