DeBlieck, 59, of 11 Glenwood Road Coal Valley, died Friday at the Veterans Hospital, Iowa City. Services are 9 a.m. Wednesday at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Orion, and 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Colona. Burial is in Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 8. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Research Center at Veterans Hospital, Iowa City. Mr. DeBlieck was born in Pipestone, Minn. He married Shirlee Anderson Sept. 17, 1949 in East Moline. He had been a general foreman at the Red Jacket Pump Co., Davenport, for 32 years, retiring in 1982. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a life member of the AmVets, and the Muscatine Eagles. He was an avid camper and fisherman. Survivors include a daughter, Beth Noyd, Viola; a son, Rick J., Longwood, Fla.; sisters, Elaine M. Brown, Coal Valley, and Dee Hungerford, Bettendorf; and his father Fred B. DeBlieck, Orion.
