Daniel DeSchepper

Services for Daniel DeSchepper, 67, of 1909 10th St., Rock Island, are 9:30 
a.m. Tuesday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, and 10 a.m. at St Pius X Catholic 
Church, Rock Island, where he was a member. Entombment is in Calvary 
Mausoleum, Rock Island.

Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 today at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, with a 
liturgy conducted at 6. Memorials may be made to the church or Alleman High 
School.

Mr. DeSchepper died Saturday, Feb. 22, 1992, at Franciscan Medical Center, 
Rock Island.

He was born June 10, 1924, in Moline, the son of Joseph V. and Dorothy J. 
Hamerlinck DeSchepper. He married Margaret M. Fluegel Feb. 15, 1947, in Milan.

He worked as a custodian at Audubon Elementary School, Rock Island, retiring 
in 1987, after eight years of service. Previously, he worked a total of 30 
years at the former Downing's and Borden Dairies, Rock Island.

He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters Sacred Heart Court 1691; 
and Teamsters Local 371, Rock island.

He enjoyed baseball, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include the widow; daughters, Lila Jean Keltner, Elgin, Ill., and 
Sandra K. DeSchinckel, Rock Island; a son David M. DeSchepper, Rock Island; 
six grandchildren; his mother, Milan; sisters, Rose Regal, Milan, Marjorie 
Wilhelm, Rock island, and Bonnie Epping, Beardstown, Ill.; and brothers, 
Joseph DeSchepper, Janesville, Wis., Robert DeSchepper, Milan, and John "Jack" 
DeSchepper, East Moline.
