Mrs. Clara Elliott

Mrs. Clara Elliott, 82, formerly of 1555 31st Ave., Moline, died today at St. 
Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, and 
10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Moline, with the Rev. Robert 
E. Lee, co-pastor. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the Altar 
and Rosary Society will recite a rosary st 2 p.m. A public rosary will be 
recited at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church, where she was a member.

The former Clara VanderVennet was born in Moline, where she was married to C. 
E. Robert Elliott in March 1930. He died Oct 15, 1975. She was a life resident 
of Moline.

Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the church, a 
member of the Visiting Nurses Association and the Emma Kough Circle of King's 
Daughters.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jane Marre of Oak Brook, Mrs. Catherine 
Hourigan of Moline, Mrs. Roberta Nolan of Stevens Point, Wis., and Mrs. Mary 
Claire Fahrenbache of Galesburg, Mich.; 19 grandchildren; and a great-
grandchild.

Clara was the daughter of Arthur C Vander Vennet and Aladee Hamerlinck.
