Noncombatant Slain in Quarrel

Peter Galls, a young Belgian, was shot and killed in Rock Island, while J. W. 
Haines and his stepson, Alfred Banks, were engaged in a street quarrel. Haines 
was held by a coroner's jury on a charge of murder. Galls was walking with 
Banks when Haines began shooting at his stepson.
