She had been ill for about three weeks. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon in Esterdahl chapel, Dr. Walter A. Tillberg, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park cemetery. Mrs. Griffin, the former Ethel Johnson, was born Nov. 6, 1892, in Page county, Iowa. She came to Moline as a child and had resided here since. She was married to Milton Griffin in Moline on Nov. 5, 1909. Mrs. Griffin was of Lutheran faith. Surviving are the widower; seven daughters, Mrs. Horace Brown of East Moline, Mrs. Floyd Lang of Hampton, Mrs. George Thielen of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Orville Reehl of Moline, Mrs. Burrel Frazier of East Moline, Mrs. Kenneth Sayre of Orion and Miss Martha Griffin at home; three sons, Clarence, Donald and Elmer, all of Moline; a brother, Edgar Johnson of Moline; and eight grandchildren.
