The Argus, Friday, March 16, 1900
Mrs. Andrew Kadel, of Edgington, died Thursday morning at 5 o’clock of 
pneumonia after an illness of nine days. She was born in Germany in 1844 and 
leaves beside her husband eight children, five girls and three boys. The 
funeral will take place from the home Sunday with interment at the Lutheran 
cemetery in Edgington. Rev. C. A. Mennicke, of Rock Island, will conduct the 
funeral services.
