May 2012.
    Abel Laverne Severns, 39, of 5008  5th Ave., Moline, was one of three men 
killed in an unexplained auto accident two miles north of Wapello, Ia. Saturday 
night.  Others killed are Omer Edward Beeding, 25, and Kenneth Kludy, 22, both 
of Mediapolis.  There were no witnesses to the accident, but officials theorized 
that Severns was traveling north on Highway 61, and the two others turned into 
the highway from the east and directly in the path of Severens car.  The three 
were found at 7:15 p.m. by passengers in a passing car.  Severns and Kludy were 
dead; Severns beside his burning car and Kludy in the Beeding car.  Beeding was 
pronounced dead on arrival at Belleveu Hospital, Muscatine.  With no witnesses 
to the accident there will be no inquest, according Louisa County Coroner J.W.
