"JENNIE GRIFFIN
    Services for Jennie Mae Griffin, 85, Moline, are 1 p.m. Tuesday at 
Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline.  Burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal 
Island.  visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Funeral home.  
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  She died Friday, Dec. 
8, 2000, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.  Jennie Mae Wendell was born 
Oct. 12, 1915, in Moline, the daughter of Alfred and Blanche Thompson 
Wendell.  She married Warren N. Griffin Dec. 31, 1936 (Silvis).  He preceded 
her in death Aug. 19, 1991.  She was a member of Union Congregational Church, 
Moline.  she also belonged to the Hiking Club and Bunco Club.  She enjoyed 
gardening and crocheting.  The survivors listing has been omitted for living 
persons. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Rita J. 
Griffin."  

Additional Comments:
Mrs. Griffin is buried with her husband: National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, 
Rock Island County, Illinois; Plot R 63.  The couple had five children, Gary 
L., Rita June, Russell J., Warren Eugene, and Marcella Mae Griffin.
