IN THE COUNTY OF COURT OF SAID COUNTY:

I, Charles Ekman do solemnly declare on oath that it is bona fide my intention to become a 
citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance to every foreign Prince, 
Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Oscar 2nd King of Sweden 
whereof I was heretofore a citizen or subjet.
