CHARLES OSCAR ADLOFF
Private, Headquarters Company, U. S. A. Son of Emil Adloff, 1423 South College
street, Springfield. Born September 15, 1896, in Springfield. Entered the service
August 29, 1917, in Springfield. Received his training at Camp Wadsworth, S. C., and
Camp Stuart, Va. Sailed overseas September 23, 1918. In action in the Argonne
Offensive. Was in action when the Armistice was signed. Discharged July 18, 1919, at
Camp Grant, Ill.
