S: A. Son of Mrs. Margaret Alewalt, 635 North Fourteenth street, Springfield. Born August 6, 1892, in Springfield. Entered service June 25, 1918. Received his training at Camp Taylor, Ky., and Camp Lewis, Wash. Was at Camp Lewis when the Armistice was signed. Discharged February 8, 1919, at Camp Grant.
