FRANK A. ALLEN
Private, First Construction Company, United States Army. Son of Mr. and Mrs. C. S.
Allen, 1150 North Seventh street, Springfield. Born March 11, 1889, in Dowagiac,
Mich. Entered service December 12, 1917, in Springfield. Received his training at
Camp Sevier, S. C. Sailed overseas June 30, 1918, on the Mauretania. Was in Camp at
Stockbridge Hunts, England. Was in London, England, when the Armistice was signed.
Discharged April 9, 1919, at Camp Grant.
