LELAN S. ALLEN
Cook, Fifth Anti-Aircraft Battalion, U. S. A. Son of Alfred M. and Ella R. Allen of
Pawnee, 111. Born October 9, 1892, in Pawnee. Entered service May 15, 1918. Received
his training at Ft. McKinley and Ft. William, Portland, Me. Sailed overseas October
7, 1918, on the H. M. T. Euripides. Was at Ft. Montlignon, France, when the
Armistice was signed. Discharged February 10, 1919, at Camp Grant.
