ALLISON Sergeant, 303rd Railway Engineers, U. S. A. Son of Hugh and Catherine Allison, 1224 Peoria road, Springfield. Born July 19, 1889, in Ottawa. Ill. Entered the service April 29, 1918. Received his training at Camp Dix, New Jersey. Sailed overseas May 29, 1918. In action in the St. Mihiel Drive. Was gassed. Was in Germany when the Armistice was signed. Discharged June 12, 1919, at Camp Dix, New Jersey.
