ALLISON Seaman, First Class, United States Navy. Son of Hugh and Catherine Allison, 1224 Peoria road, Springfield. Born July 14, 1896, in Springfield. Entered the service in June, 1918. Received his training at Great Lakes Naval Station, aboard U. S. S. Missouri, and at Norfolk, Va. Made one trip overseas on the Missouri. Was on the ocean, going to France, when the Armistice was signed. Discharged January 25, 1919, at the Philadelphia Navy Yards.
