WILLIAM ALTMAN
Private, Company E, 303rd Engineers, 78th Division, U. S. A. Son of Mrs. Bessie
Altman, living in Russia. Address, 321 South Fifth street, Springfield. Born March
10, 1891, in Russia. Entered service April 29, 1919, in Springfield. Received his
training at Camp Dix, N. J. In action at St. Mihiel and Argonne Offensive. Was in
Hout, France, when the Armistice was signed. Discharged June 14 at Camp Grant.
