Seaman, 2nd Class, United States Navy. Son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Anderson, 1409
South Fifth street, Springfield. Born April 6, 1897, in Springfield. Entered the
service July 6, 1918, in Springfield. Received his training at Great Lakes Naval
Station. Discharged March 23, 1919* at Great Lakes.
