Antle, 812 South Pasfield street, Springfield. Born January 20, 1895, in Salisbury, Ill. Entered service December 12, 1918. Received training at Paris Island, S. C., and Quantico, Va. Sailed overseas March 12, 1918. In action at Belleau Woods and the Meuse-Argonne. Wounded June 11 at Belleau Woods, and again on November 10, while crossing the Meuse river under fire. Received Company Citation. Was in hospital when the Armistice was signed. Later assigned to the A. E. F. University at Beaune, France.
