Enlisted in Regular Army May 9, 1917. Called to active duty June 9, 1917. Received
his training at Ft. Leavenworth, Kans.; Camp J. E. Johnston, Fla.; Washington, D. C.
Was in charge Tent and Canvas Repair Branch, Office Director Purchase, Storage and
Traffic Department, at Washington, D. C, at the time of his discharge, February 21,
1919.
