WILBER PRICE ARMSTRONG, JR.
Candidate, Company L, Central Infantry Officers' Training School, U. S. A. Son of
Dr. and Mrs. W. P. Armstrong, 824 South Sixth street, Springfield. Born October 10,
1898, in Springfield. Entered service in S. A. T. C. in July, 1918. Sent to Ft.
Sheridan. In September, 1918, was recommended for Reserve Officers' Training Camp,
Waco, Texas. Was at Camp McArthur, Waco, Texas, when the Armistice was signed.
Discharged December 3, 1918.
