Address, 300 North Fifth street, Springfield. Entered the service June 26, 1918, in Springfield. Received his training at Camp Taylor, Ky., and Camp Beauregard, La. Sailed overseas in August, 1918. In action in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. Was gassed. Was in action when the Armistice was signed. Discharged May 12, 1919.
