Private, 312th Field Signal Battalion, 87th Division, U. S. A. Address, 319 1/2 East
Washington street, Springfield. Born June 21, 1896. Entered service June 1, 1918.
Sailed overseas in September, 1918. Served nine months in France. Was there when the
Armistice was signed. Discharged April 18, 1919, at Camp Grant.
