CHARLES W. BAKER
Private, 26th Company Engineers, U. S. A. Son of John F. Baker, 108 North Walnut
street, Springfield. Born March 11, 1897, in Springfield. Entered the service
September 5, 1918, in Springfield. Received his training at Camp Forrest, Georgia.
Was at Camp Forrest, Georgia, when the Armistice was signed. Discharged at Camp
Forrest February 28, 1919.
