JOHN A. BALLOU
Corporal, Company I, 45th Infantry, 9th Division, U. S. A. Son of John W. Ballou,
915 Bryn Mawr boulevard, Springfield. Born January 26, 1893, in Springfield. Entered
service May 30, 1918, in Springfield. Received his training at Ft. Thomas, Ky.; Camp
Gordon, Ga., and Camp Sheridan, Ala. Was home on sick leave when the Armistice was
signed. Discharged February 14, 1919, at Camp Gordon, Ga.
