Attends Colonial Tea In Springfield Mrs. Matilda White has returned from Springfield, where she has been visiting in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Meredith. She and Mrs. Meredith attended the Colonial Tea on Washington’s birthday, given at the governor’s mansion by the Daughters of the American Revolution, of which Mrs. White is a member. A very interesting program was given by ladies attired in colonial style. Three hundred persons were in attendance, among them being a number of out of town members and guests. It is the little things well done that go to make up a successful and truly good life. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- USGENWEB NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organization or persons.
