Malyon – Word was received in this city Saturday by H. Y. Pollock, 857 South Douglas Avenue of the death of his sister, Mrs. Jane Malyon, of Wilmette. Ms. Pollock left Sunday and attended the funeral services, which were held yesterday afternoon. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery, Chicago. Mrs. Malyon was born in Berlin September 17, 1848, and at the time of her death was 67 years, 2 months and 9 days old. As survivors Mrs. Malyon leaves five daughters Mrs. A. F. Thompson, Wilmette; Mrs. J. D. Murphy, Evanston; Mrs. Lou Fosse, Chicago; Miss Mayme Malyon, Chicago; Mrs. George Haas, Wilmette, and two sons, John and Clifford Malyon of Havre, Mont.: also two brothers, H. Y. Pollock of this city and John Pollock of Eugene, Ore. Harry Pollock of the State Journal was a nephew of the decedent.
