Date of Newspaper: October 1986 Obituary: Harriet Henson, 61, of Waverly dies Harriet Louise Henson, 61, of Waverly died Saturday afternoon, to October 18 at Passavant Hospital. She was born May 24, 1925 in Scott County, a daughter of Claude and Stella Cockerill Ratliff. She married Maurice Henson Sept. 5, 1939, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Sanders of Jacksonville and Mrs. Earl (Phyllis) Shoemaker of Waverly; six sons, Jim of Redding, California, Gene of Jacksonville, John of Mulberry, Arkansas, Roger of Carrollton and Robert and Ronald, both of Waverly; seven sisters, Stella Lomelino, Margaret to Currier and Lula Belle Lackschiede, Hall of Jacksonville, Betty Hughes of White Hall, Anna Snodgrass of Patterson, Mary Lomelino of Murrayville and Rose Perkins of Chapin; six brothers, Leroy Bunch of Virden, George of Virginia, Donnie of Murrayville, Charles of Murrayville, Tommy of Chapin and Scott of Woodson; 29 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son. She was a member of the Bellwood Baptist Church and was secretary of the Apple Creek CB Club. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Neece Funeral Home in Waverly with burial in a Pullam Cemetery at Modesto.
