Dyer Organized at Mattoon, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 11, 1864. Moved to Memphis, Tenn., June 16-19. Attached to 3rd Brigade, Memphis, Tenn., District of West Tennessee. Transferred to 3rd Brigade July 12. Duty at Memphis, Tenn., till July 27. Moved to Helena, Ark., District of Eastern Arkansas, July 27-28, and duty there till September 10. Mustered out September 26, 1864.
