Thomas Jefferson Lawless was a G.A.R. member of the Illinois cavelry 11, Regiment 11, company B, Entered service November 20, 1861 (Illinois Artillary) Hayes Center, HAYES COL. REPUBLICAN, THUR. 5, JUNE 1890, p.4, c.2 Hayes Center, Nebraska Mr. Thomas Lawless located on the ne 1/4, Sec. 25, twp 6, range 31 (Thornburg Precinct,), was a native of the state of Illinois: was a solier in Co. B, 11th Illinois Cav. Served 3 years and 8 months; came to Hayes county in 1886 from Red Willow county, NE.
