Oct. 28, 1936 page 1 column 2 FORMER RESIDENT HERE DIES IN WASHINGTON Word had been received Wednesday in East St. Louis of the death of Mrs. Mary Hampton Anderson, a former resident of this city, in Washington D. C. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, former vice-president of the Grand Lodge of the Machinists' union; daughters Loretta and Clarice Anderson; a son, Byron Anderson; brothers Oscar, Omar, and Walter Hampton. Omar Hampton lives at 2731 Market Avenue. Same; page 18 column 4 Anderson, Mary (nee Hampton ) of Washington D. C., formerly of East St. Louis; dear wife of Jack Anderson, former vice-president of Grand Lodge of Machinist Union; dear mother of Clarice, Byran and Loretta Anderson; dear sister of the late Nellie Bagwell, Oscar Hampton, Omar Hampton of East St. Louis and Walter Hampton of Salt Lake City and the late Dolly Hampton. Burial was Monday afternoon at Washington D.
