Obituary of Rosa Valda LIDISKY, St Clair County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 1999 Karen Souhrada [Obituary Notice from Newspaper in Belleville, IL; dated July 1947]: Mrs. Lidisky Dies in Belleville; Aged 78 [actually, she was 80 years] Mrs. ROSALIE (nee VALTA/WALTA) LIDISKY, 78, died Wednesday (Jul 9, 1947) in St. Elizabeth's hospital, Belleville, three and a half hours after she had been admitted as a patient. Mrs. Lidisky suffered a heart ailment. She lived with her daughter Mrs. MARY BELLER, 2109 East Main street, Belleville. Mrs Lidisky was born in Czechoslovakia and had lived in Belleville for more than 30 years. She leaves nine children CHARLES LIDISKY, of rural route 4, Belleville; JOSEPH LIDISKY, Belleville; WILLIAM LIDISKY, rural route 2, Belleville; Mrs. CLARA BENESH, Mrs. ANNA SIVACILl, Mrs. JUANITA BATHA, Mrs. Mary Beller, Mrs. ROSE KIRKWOOD, and Mrs. PATRICIA BOSSLER, all of Belleville; one sister Mrs. MARIE KOUDELKA, Belleville; one brother FRANK VALTA/WALTA, Grass Valley, Calif.; 21 grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. ---- [Source: from unknown newspaper, and sent to Karen Souhrada, by descendant Anna Rose "Dollie" Valta/Walta, January 1999:] IN MEMORIAM In loving memory of our mother, Rosalie Lidisky who passed away 25 years ago, July 9, 1947.
