17 March 1939 Belleville Daily Advocate
Three Are Granted Decrees Of Divorce

     Mrs. Ruth Johnson today was granted a decree of divorce from Wilbur L.
Johnson, member of the East St. Louis real estate firm of Carr and Johnson on
grounds of cruelty by Circuit Court Judge Maurice V. Joyce.  They married Feb.
5, 1921, and separated last Feb. 26.  A property settlement was reached out of
court.
